Juried Shows
I do several juried shows per year especially those showcasing 18th century crafts. Juried shows require a potential exhibitor to submit representative pieces of work to a committee. This committee or panel of judges can be composed of experts in the area being judged or promoters of specific craft events. The purpose of juried events is to maintain an exceptional quality of the goods being displayed. It assures the visitor that the arts and crafts being exhibited are of the highest quality and workmanship.
