Warranty Information, Other Activities and Payment Methods
Warranty of Workmanship
I warranty my products for one year from defects in craftsmanship. It should be noted, however, especially in the case of doors, lids, drawers, etc., that wood will move throughout the year in relation to the climate and humidity, up to 5/16th  inch is not uncommon. The more stable the atmosphere, including a certain level of humidity, the more stable the wood.  In cases of delamination (pieces coming unglued), or damage not from misuse or normal wear, the item should be returned, postage paid, for repair or replacement (at our discretion). We will pay return postage.  Shrinkage, hairline cracks and minor warpage of wide board construction is normal and not a structural defect.  Pieces that become damaged during normal use, and not from misuse or lack of care within the specified time of one year, should be returned post paid for repair or replacement, at my discretion.  Refunds will be made on stock items returned in their original condition within 30 days.  You are responsible for packing and return postage.  A 10% restock charge will apply to all returns.  Return of custom orders other than for warranty related reasons will be at my discretion.

Plane used for manually preparing wood.

Other Activities
I also restore and repair antique firearms. Not limited to stocks, this work includes restoration and/or repair of locks, triggers, hardware, etc.

Also, I am always looking for additional equipment and woodworking tools and am prepared to pay a fair price. Should you have any old tools you are interested in selling, please contact me at The Country Cabinetmaker.

Acceptable Payment Methods and Shipping
Payment may be made by personal checks; MasterCard and Visa payments may also be made via Paypal.com. This is a secure and free on-line service. Shipping is via priority mail and UPS, for larger pieces. You pay only the actual shipping cost. A 1/3 deposit is due when placing an order. The balance is due upon completion and prior to shipment.  Time for completion will be given at the time of the order.  While I make every effort to meet deadlines, delays can occur.  Should such a delay occur, I will contact you to let you know the situation.  However, this type of work cannot and will not be rushed.  I recommend that holiday, birthday or other special event orders be placed well in advance.
